Temperature Indicating Material
THERMO PAINT®

Thermo Paint can be applied by brush or spray to check the temperature of large areas or uneven surfaces. For use with spray, specialized thinner is required.

Reversible
Although the paint color will change above a specific temperature, it will revert to the original color when cooled, enabling one application to be used repeatedly.

Cautions for Use
  • Keep away from flame.
  • Clean an area before paint is applied on it.
  • Stir the paint with a fine stick before use. The pigments may be setteled down.
  • The paint viscosity is adjusted for brush painting. When the viscosity gets too high for easy painting, re-adjust the viscosity with thinner. If the paint is used for spray painting, add 20% of thinner.
  • The solvent is flammable and volatile. Close a cap of the bottle after use, keep it in the original box, and store the box at a place, cool, dark, well ventilated in order to eliminate a risk of flame.
  • The validity of product quality is one year after shipment from Japan.
  • Thermo Paint cannot be used outdoor and should not contact directly with human, food, kitchenware or tableware.

The temperature, at which the irreversible/semi-irreversible paint color changes, may change depending on time and speed of heating. Please check the following data before selecting the product. The temperatures shown above are reference only and those at which the color change is completed at heating speed of 2 to 3 oC/min.
