Uniflows is on the way to develop a new version of degassers. Until the completion of the new version, current models Degasys, Degasys Populaire and Degasys Ultimate may need some cautions or restrictions on selection of the models or in the usage, depending upon chemicals to be used with. Please read the following :
1. When used with those listed below, Degasys Populaire (DP) will be appropriate more than Degasys Ultimate (DU):
1-1 HFIP (Hexafluoroisopropanol)
1-2 Formic acid 1-4 TFA (Trifluoroacetic acid)
1-3 Hydrogen Peroxide
2. When used with the following or a similar liquid having lower boiling point, the ambient temperature around degassers or degassing modules should be maintained at 35 degree C or lower. Ventilation or fan is recommended.
2-1 THF (Tetrahydrofuran)
3. The use of the following will damage the degassers:
3-1 HF (Hydrogen fluoride)
3-2 Freon 113
3-3 Fluorinert FC-40
3-4 Fluorinert FC-72
3-5 Fluorinert FC-75
3-6 Perfluoro benzene
3-7 Perfluoro octane
3-8 Perfluoro decalin
3-9 Perfluoro 1-methyldecalin
3-10 Perfluoro dimethyldecalin
3-11 Perfluoro methyl-cyclohexane
3-12 Perfluoro dimethyl-cyclohexane
